When placing sports bets, how are the accumulator odds typically calculated for football and basketball? And how do you calculate when there's a half-win or half-loss?
Accumulator odds are calculated as follows:
Amount x (1 + Odds of the first match) x (1 + Odds of the second match) x (1 + Odds of the third match) x ...
=====================================
Three full wins
100 yuan x (1 + 0.95) x (1 + 0.84) x (1 + 1.10) = 753.48 yuan (Three full wins)
=====================================
One half-win
Amount x (1 + Odds of the first match / 2) x (1 + Odds of the second match) x (1 + Odds of the third match) x ...
100 yuan x (1 + 0.95/2) x (1 + 0.84) x (1 + 1.10) = 569.94 yuan (Two full wins, first match half-win)
In this case, the odds are halved.
=====================================
One half-loss
Amount / 2 x (1 + Odds of the second match) x (1 + Odds of the third match) x ...
100 yuan / 2 x (1 + 0.84) x (1 + 1.10) = 193.2 yuan (Two full wins, first match half-loss)
Half the amount, directly divided by 2.
It should be clear now!
=====================================
Accumulator Odds Bonus = Odds x Odds x Stake - Stake
As an example, let's consider a 3-match accumulator with odds of 0.9/0.95/0.94. If you bet 20 yuan on this accumulator, the bonus would be:
(0.9 + 1) x (0.95 + 1) x (0.94 + 1) x 20 - 20 = 123.754 yuan
If in the three matches, the first match only wins half, the bonus for this accumulator would be: { (0.9 + 1) x 0.5 } x (0.95 + 1) x (0.94 + 1) x 20 - 20 = 51.877 yuan;
If in the three matches, the first match only loses half, then this match is not taken into account. Take the remaining two odds for calculation: { (0.95 + 1) x (0.94 + 1) x 20 - 20 } x 0.5 = 28.9 yuan. |
