Djokovic is essentially unlikely to win the Olympic gold medal next year.

This year's Wimbledon ended on July 16th, and next year's Olympics are scheduled to start on July 26th. Considering that Djokovic is likely to reach at least the semifinals in both Wimbledon and the Olympics, it's highly improbable that he'll have enough energy left to compete for a gold medal at the Olympics. So, winning the gold medal can be considered a distant possibility unless Djokovic decides to skip Wimbledon or gets eliminated early, which is also unlikely.

The tight schedule and the fact that it's at the French Open make it highly unlikely.

As a fan, I hope for a Grand Slam victory, but Djokovic will surely give it his all.

It's not a problem to compete in the Olympics for national glory, but it's not a necessity. The focus remains on winning the four Grand Slam tournaments.
