The well-known "Huobi" has been changed to "HTX," which inevitably reminds people of the bankrupt exchange FTX.
According to the official announcement, "H" stands for Huobi's H, "T" represents TRON, indicating the determination of Allin TRON, and "X" represents the exchange business. From the combination of letters, "HT" is also the name of Huobi's platform token, so "HTX" can also be understood as an exchange for trading HT. In addition, the "X," which represents 10 in Roman numerals, pays tribute to the platform's 10th anniversary, implying that through the joint development of Huobi HTX, TRON, and Poloniex's collaborative ecosystem, they are collectively writing a new chapter in the cryptocurrency industry.
As of now, the exchange's social media account names have all been changed to "HTX," and several product lines under it have also adopted the new names, such as HTX Earn. |
