"The shortlist for the FIFA Men's Coach of the Year for 2023 includes five candidates: Pep Guardiola, Simone Inzaghi, Xavi Hernandez, Luciano Spalletti, and Postecoglou.

Pep Guardiola is considered the frontrunner for the FIFA Coach of the Year award, thanks to his achievement of winning a treble. Additionally,Postecoglou, currently managing Tottenham Hotspur and previously in charge of Celtic, led the Scottish club to domestic success last season, securing the league title as well as the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup, completing a domestic treble for the eighth time in the club's history.

Italy boasts two coaches on the shortlist: Luciano Spalletti, who guided Napoli to the league title last season and was named Serie A's Coach of the Year. He also led the team to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, a historic achievement for the club. Simone Inzaghi, who led Inter Milan to the UEFA Champions League final and secured the Italian Cup with the team, is another strong candidate.

Lastly, Xavi Hernandez, who manages Barcelona in La Liga, led the team to reclaim the league title and secured the Spanish Super Cup during the last season."
