Italy boasts two coaches on the shortlist: Luciano Spalletti, who guided Napoli to the league title last season and was named Serie A's Coach of the Year. He also led the team to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, a historic achievement for the club. Simone Inzaghi, who led Inter Milan to the UEFA Champions League final and secured the Italian Cup with the team, is another strong candidate.
