The Ministry of Economic Development has stated that over $80 million in unpaid taxes have been identified from unregulated exchanges, and local cryptocurrency exchanges have generated approximately $445 million in transaction fee revenue over the past 10 years. Earlier, Ukrainian regulatory authorities decided to impose an 18% tax on cryptocurrency profits starting from 2024.
