"Today, I achieved a three-game winning streak. After taking a few days off, I decided to approach my gambling differently. Normally, I place bets almost every round, guessing the outcome and betting accordingly. I rarely hesitate to bet even if I'm unsure about a particular round. However, this approach doesn't directly improve my winning rate. Its benefit lies in helping me stay calm, carefully observe the situation, and we all know how crucial composure is in gambling. So, today, I took longer on each of the five rounds I played, returning after a brief break to secure a small win. It's essential to maintain the right mindset.
After the three-game winning streak, I decided to call it a day. I made a deal with myself that if I continued winning, I'd keep playing, but if not, I'd stop after the first loss. And that's precisely what I did today. I played with the mindset that any win, no matter how small, is still a win. Perhaps, after losing too much previously, it affected my mindset, and I wanted to win more, which, ironically, led to more losses. I forgot that the initial purpose of my gambling was relaxation.
Now, things are better. After a few days of rest, I can finally relax and enjoy gambling. Losses don't bother me much since the amounts are small, and winning, no matter how little, brings joy. My work-related mess, which resulted from an error, was also sorted out after working overtime last Saturday. I'm in high spirits now, hoping that no more unpleasant surprises await me in the future." |
