The Australian team is known for its dominant gaming display. Some players across the world, however, were particularly impactful while playing against the Australians. Which players were they?

VVS Laxman hands down!

If there was one player that Steve Waugh believed to be Australia’s biggest worry it would have to be VVS Laxman. The right-handed wristy batsman from India gave the Aussie team some of the biggest upsets. His magical 281 runs at the Eden Gardens are still remembered as one of the best test innings in India.

Shane Bond in my opinion!

Shane Bond is one of the famous New Zealand pacers, whose career was marred with injuries. Despite having a relatively small ODI and Test career, Bond was known to torment the Aussie batting lineup. He has had success against some of the top Aussies batsmen in different stages of his career.

In my opinion, it has to be Faf Du Plessis.

Faf Du Plessis has been Australia’s thorn in many of their encounters. He has done it all to save South Africa in many impossible situations. Faf Du Plessis's career’s biggest highlight came in his debut match against Australia, where he and ABD played their skins out and saved the test from a position of losing.
