Despite modest success and popularity for playing in the Mumbai Indians side, Tim David has yet to resonate with the success of the Australian Internation team. Would he deliver in the upcoming CWC 2023?

In my opinion, he will struggle.

Tim David has a problem with his temperament and technique that is required to play ODIs. He needs proper mentoring and training in domestic leagues before he can find his place in the ODI team.

Tim David has played across some of the top cricketers of India in different Indian stadiums, thanks to the IPL. This would help his game and easy adaptability to score crucial runs for the Aussies in the middle order. Only time would tell if he indeed would deliver in the CWC 2023.

Tim David is the future of Australian Cricket.

I don’t want to spew negativity, but I feel David is the future of the Australian batting. All he needs is to spend a good time in the field with a good batting mentor. His batting would improvise like never seen before. Hence, Tim David is a future star of the squad.
