If you want to talk about the hardest-hit team in the Premier League, it has to be Chelsea. Despite spending a whopping 600 million euros this season, they have been struggling in 12th place. They even endured a six-match losing streak and a nine-game winless streak. If they continue to lose, Chelsea could face the threat of relegation. However, Chelsea finally saw a ray of hope in their recent match against Bournemouth, as they secured a much-needed victory, and a big one at that.

This victory was a long-awaited relief for Chelsea. Since the arrival of interim coach Lampard, they had struggled to secure a win. In fact, their performance under Lampard was even worse than under their previous manager Potter. Some have even suggested that maybe it would have been better not to replace Potter with Lampard, as their attack lacked a clear strategy, and their defense was disorganized. Chelsea fans had grown numb to draws or losses and considered this season a failure. Their only hope was avoiding relegation.

Interestingly, Chelsea's league position and points meant that just one more win would virtually guarantee their safety from relegation. But with a long string of winless games, some fans started to think, 'Could the impossible actually happen?' Fortunately, they finally won, and Chelsea now lead Everton and Southampton by at least 13 points with four games to go, and they are 12 points ahead of 17th-placed Leeds United with three games left. So, they secured their safety with four games to spare.

However, for Chelsea, this performance is far from a reason to celebrate. For a team that spent 600 million euros, simply securing safety is not a great achievement but rather a colossal failure. I've always believed that Chelsea's current management is the main culprit behind their poor performance. Many people criticize the coaches, but even if they had a top-class coach, it would be difficult to succeed with an over-inflated squad, unfamiliar medical staff, and a management team focused on showmanship. All these factors have made it challenging for Chelsea to achieve success.

Winning this time, I wonder if it's just a flash in the pan.

The long-awaited victory should give them a lot of confidence, but other clubs are strong, and Chelsea faces a tough challenge.
