"Paul Pogba, the star midfielder, has always been one of the most closely watched players by fans. His outstanding skills and his natural inclination for stirring things up make people both love and hate him. I still remember how he, at the peak of his career, led France to the pinnacle of the world. Unfortunately, the good times didn't last, and after Pogba won the World Cup, one would have thought a bright future awaited him. However, later on, Pogba turned into an injury-prone player. This season, he has been sidelined for three-quarters of it, made a comeback, played just two games, and suffered another serious injury. It seems like Pogba's professional career is slowly coming to an end.
As a former top midfielder, Pogba's performances at Manchester United have always been commendable, and fans once liked him a lot. However, his good days at the club did not last until the end, and he experienced a falling out with the team. Pogba's later performances at Manchester United were worlds apart from when he first arrived, and some fans even wondered if he was deliberately playing poorly. Additionally, during this period, Pogba began to show signs of being injury-prone. Frequent injuries, a high salary, and poor performances led to a loss of support from Manchester United fans, and the relationship between both sides deteriorated.
As everyone knows, Pogba rejected Manchester United's contract extension offer, and when he left the club, he even publicly criticized Manchester United in a video, stating that the club lacked the ability and ambition to win championships. As a result, he returned to Juventus as a free agent. This season marks Pogba's first season back at Juventus, and he had ambitious goals. However, before the season even began, he suffered a serious injury in a preseason exhibition match in the United States, effectively ruling him out for most of the season. He even missed the World Cup, only making his recent comeback.
Juventus fans are understandably unhappy, as Pogba, who earns a high salary, has yet to play a single game for the team so far. Even if he has great skills, not playing means everything is in vain. Pogba made efforts to recover and return to the field, but he suffered another injury shortly after his return. When he was carried off the field, Pogba was in tears because he knew he was not living up to his salary and was disappointing the fans." |
