Axar Patel, the Indian batting allrounder suffered injuries during the Asia Cup match against Bangladesh and has been ruled out of the third ODI against Australia. In my opinion, he is a great player and he will recover soon to be seen in the next few matches. Injuries do affect sports person’s career a lot and we can only wish for him to get back on track again.

Axar Patel suffered a concussion on his elbow and wrist when a ball hit him after being thrown by the fielder. Axar did bat in that match, but he is now ruled out of the third ODI against Australia.

Although he did not play the first two ODIs against Australia, he was not officially ruled out. He was in the NCA for his checkups. Now he is announced and ruled out of the third and the final ODI between India and Australia on 27th September.

Axar is a good player and the Indian Cricket Team will need him in the World Cup squad which is happening in just ten days from now. Although India called R Ashwin as his substitute already, Axar’s added batting ability makes him a well-rounded player for any team.
