What is the prize money offered to every team in the World Cup?

All the teams participating in the World Cup 2023, are being rewarded prize money. What is the money pool decided by the ICC and the BCCi for all the teams participating?

Here’s the breakdown of the prize money -

1. Winner - $4,000,000
2. Runner-up - $2,000,000
3. Losing Semi-finalists - $800,000
4. Eliminated in group stages - $100,000
5. Winner of each group stage match - $40,000

The winners of the World Cup will be offered around 30Cr. INR and the rest of the teams will be getting significantly lower amounts of money. But every team that wins even one game in the World Cup will be awarded prize money in this World Cup.

Each team will be awarded an outstanding sum on money this time. The winner and the runner-up will receive 30 crores and 15 crores respectively which will be equally distributed by the respective cricket boards to their players, staff and growth in the domestic system.
