There will be phenomenal batters like Virat, Gill, Rohit, Babar, Kane, Warner, Smith, and Root in this World Cup. All of them potentially can score a lot of runs. In the last World Cup, Rohit scored the most runs. Which players can score the most runs in this edition of the World Cup?

I think Gill, Klaasen and Mitch Marsh can potentially score the most runs in this World Cup. At least two of these will be the highest-scoring individuals in this World Cup. All of them have shown tremendous form in the recent past.

Shubman Gill has played really well in the recent past. If he had played the last ODI against Australia, he would enter the World Cup as the No.1 ranked ODI player by the ICC rankings. I am eagerly waiting to see Gill score hundreds.
