The England star bowler has been injured since 2020. He has missed the Ashes, T20 World Cup 2021 & 2022 and now will miss the ODI World Cup 2023. He was one of the heroes for the English team in the 2019 World Cup which they won. Is England’s bowling strong without him?

Jofra Archer has been a nightmare for bowlers. I still remember how he bullied Smith and Marnus in the 2019 Ashes with his deadly pace and bouncers. England will definitely miss him in this World Cup edition.

England won the 2022 T20 World Cup with Jofra and reached the semi-finals in the 2021 T20 WC also. England has enough options to replace Jofra. The likes of experienced Woakes and Adil Rashid along with the pacer Mark Wood and Ben Stokes can threaten any batting order.

Jofra’s shoes cannot be filled easily. He is the kind of bowler who can bowl anywhere and give you wickets - In the powerplay, middle overs and even in the death. He is such an accurate bowler. It's obvious that England has not been able to win tournaments since Jofra is injured.
