Mayank Agarwal Confirms That It Was His Hand on the Shoulder of Rishabh Pant

In a 2019 tour of team India to England, players of team India went onto the streets for some shopping. They clicked a photo that had Hardik Pandya, MS Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, Mayank Agarwal and Rishab Pant in it. But there was a hand on Pant's shoulder which was very cryptic and was not visible where it came from.

Yes. The whole internet was in awe seeing this picture. After it was uploaded, there was a rush of comments from cricket fans asking whose hand it was on Pant’s shoulder. Now, after four years, Agarwal has confirmed that it was his hand.

Even if it is Mayank Agarwal’s hand, I still am unable to understand how someone's hand can reach so far. The only logical explanation is that it is the angle of the camera that is causing this confusion.

It had to be Agarwal’s hand only. Because the hands of all the other players are busy somewhere else. This was really a viral photo on the internet back then and it caused much debate from the cricket fans.
