In this ODI World Cup, India has three proper pacers - Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah. But India is looking to play only two of these three bowlers in order to extend their batting to number 8. What do you think about this?

I think India should play all three of these players. All these three are fire bowlers and can upset a batting lineup any day. India should not compromise on its bowling just to get 20-25 runs from the no. 8 batter.

As Hardik Pandya is looking in good form with the ball, I think leaving out Shami or Siraj might be a good decision and it will extend our batting lineup which is very useful in an ODI game. At number 8, India can play Shardul Thakur who is also an all-rounder.

India is playing at least 12-13 games in this tournament. I think India will not play the same lineup in all the games. So, it is unnecessary to debate about the No. 8 position or if three proper pacers will play. As the different lineups will be played in some matches we will get to see every player play.
