Viral Instagram Story Related to Axar Patel Found to Be Fake

After his snub from the World Cup team due to this injury, there was floating an Instagram story from Axar’s account showing disappointment over this decision by the BCCI. However, this story is now announced to be fake.

I sometimes think about how much free time some people have to be able to do such things. Trying to create controversy around a player’s name. Axar has great sportsmanship and would never upload such a cryptic story.

There were two fake stories that were going viral on the Internet. The first story said “Should have taken science instead of Commerce and hired a better PR” and the other story contained a skull body which has a scissor in his hand and a broken heart emoji by the scissor.

These types of things are done when there is a huge tournament like the World Cup on the stake. Obviously, Axar would not have posted such a story. We should not think more about it and let it wither overnight. Axar is a great player and would not criticize BCCI’s decision publicly like this.
