On September 24th, Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd appeared on a radio show hosted by reporter Marc Stein and discussed the injury status of their star player, Luka Dončić.
Kidd stated, "I hope, as we move forward, he'll be ready. I think in our profession, sometimes, we're not 100% healthy; maybe we're 99% or 95%. The more games you play, the longer your career is, I think you can ask anybody. Nobody's really 100% healthy."
"Now, looking at our roster, hopefully, we don't have to play Luka 40 minutes a night or longer. With our depth, I think Nico (Harrison) did a great job this summer, but I'm excited about Luka and having him ready to achieve his goal, which is winning a championship."
