Why does India do so badly at the Asian Games every time?

The Asian Games are going on currently in China. China is ruling the medal tally by a huge margin. Why is the reason that India does not do well in the Asian Games?

I don’t think India does badly in the Asian Games at all. Yes, India has not been able to finish in the top 3 ever… but this does not define India’s ability in sports. India has won a gold medal every day in this Asian Games.

This is not true. India is doing exceptionally well with every Asian Games as well as the Olympics. India is in the 5th position in the medal tally of the Asian Games. India will finish better I am sure.

India has to find a huge number of athletes. With new developments and talent hunts, many athletes have come out in recent times. I am sure India will start ruling the Asian Games the next time.
