On October 3rd, according to Cointelegraph, a California resident, Nir Lahav, has filed a class-action lawsuit against Binance founder CZ, accusing CZ of violating federal and California unfair competition laws by harming the competitor FTX to monopolize the cryptocurrency market. The lawsuit alleges that "CZ's proposal to acquire FTX was not made in good faith, and CZ's tweets caused the price of FTT to plummet from $23.1510 to $3.1468. This significant drop pushed FTX into bankruptcy without giving FTX's executives and board of directors a chance to salvage the situation and take security measures to protect its customers and end-users." |
