On October 3rd, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James conducted a media day interview.

Regarding the prospects of representing the USA Basketball in the Paris Olympics next year, James said, "I am indeed very interested in competing in Paris. Of course, this season, I have a lot of commitments with the Lakers. But I am genuinely interested in representing the USA Basketball in Paris. As it is well known, I have a history of playing for the USA team, and we have many outstanding players here in the United States."

When asked if he is in contact with other American basketball stars to join him, James replied, "We have been in communication."
