I personally believe that the best way to play baccarat for generating steady profits is to use a staircase betting strategy, whether it's for betting on the Banker, Player, Tie, or other outcomes.

For example, let's consider using the staircase betting strategy for betting on the Player. The initial bet amount can vary based on personal preferences. Let's assume you start with a bet of 20 units. If you win, you continue betting 20 units; if you lose, you double your bet to 40 units. If you lose again, you increase the bet to 60 units, and so on. When you win, you go back to your previous bet size (in this case, 40 units), and if you win again, you return to your initial bet size of 20 units.

In this strategy, each 20 units represents a "step." If you lose, you move up one step, and if you win, you move down one step. If, for example, you play 50 rounds, with 25 Banker wins and 25 Player wins, you can potentially profit 25 * 20 = 500 units.

If you play 50 rounds with 28 Banker wins and 22 Player wins, allowing you to bet on 22 Player wins and have 6 Banker wins remaining, you can potentially profit 22 * 20 = 440 units. However, you would incur losses equal to the sum of your initial 6 steps, which is 20 + 40 + 60 + 80 + 100 + 120 = 420 units. So, in this scenario, you may not make a significant profit, but you won't incur losses either.

This baccarat staircase betting strategy is particularly effective when you reach higher bet levels and engage in back-and-forth battles with larger bets.

I prefer using this method to bet on the Player, as there's no commission involved. If you bet on the Banker, you need to adjust the step size accordingly, which can lead to higher bet levels when facing the commission. However, you can use this staircase betting strategy to bet on the Tie or other outcomes as well. The choice of what to bet on should depend on the trend after observing around 8-10 rounds. If you notice a significant deviation from your expectations, be prepared to exit the strategy rather than force it.

While this baccarat staircase betting strategy effectively leverages the law of large numbers, it's essential to remember that no matter how small your starting point or step size, and regardless of how many units you have prepared, it's possible for the strategy to "break." In actual statistics, there are many cases where the Banker and Player outcomes differ by several hundred. Even with a starting point of 20 units and 20 units per step, it's not feasible to handle a 500-step staircase. Therefore, the key is to recognize when your bets have escalated to high levels, and you've either made a profit or incurred limited losses, and then reduce your bet size to avoid substantial losses in case of a "break" in the strategy.

The goal is not to chase streaks but to make money.

I'm a bit afraid of chasing streaks; I can't beat them.

The safest way to chase streaks is still to flat bet and grind slowly.
