Ripple Secures Singapore Payment License

On October 4th, Ripple announced that its Singapore subsidiary has been granted a major payment institution license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). This license allows Ripple to continue providing digital payment token services in this rapidly growing region. Ripple had received preliminary approval in June, and now its subsidiary, Ripple Markets APAC Pte Ltd, has obtained the official license.
