"Recently, in the past few days, three exchanges have run off with users' funds. I believe the security of exchanges has significantly decreased. The closure of Midex, for example, was due to the misappropriation of users' virtual currency investments, resulting in a loss of $450 million. Therefore, it seems almost certain that exchanges running off with funds have become a common occurrence.

Of course, I hope this is not true, as I also use Midex. Exchanges can be quite unreliable. If you're not actively trading cryptocurrencies and are only using them for gambling, I recommend using a cryptocurrency wallet. In my view, cryptocurrency wallets are 100% safe. As long as you avoid clicking on suspicious links and protect your account from being hacked, your funds are secure. I personally use IMTOKEN, but most wallets operate in a similar way. Even if one wallet provider disappears, you can still access your funds through another wallet. The same cannot be said if an exchange runs off with your assets."

Playing like this now is still quite frightening.

I'm just a small fish, let them run if they want to.

I haven't used any of these; they seem like a hassle.

Exchanges like Binance, which are top-tier exchanges, are relatively safer.
