"The Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau reported that in September 2023, the gross gaming revenue (GGR) of Macau casinos decreased by 13.2% compared to August, reaching 149.4 billion Macau patacas (18.5 billion USD). Despite the decline, the GGR for September 2023 increased by 404.2% compared to the same month in 2022 when travel restrictions were in place due to Covid.

Adverse weather, including Typhoon Sulu, led to a weak performance in Macau's GGR at the beginning of August. The storm disrupted transportation and resulted in the closure of casinos for nearly 9 hours. As of the first nine months of 2023, Macau's GGR has exceeded 128.95 billion Macau patacas, marking a remarkable growth of 305.3% compared to the same period in 2022."

A small fluctuation in one month, I don't think it's a big issue, right?

Surprisingly, it decreased, and it seems the impact of the hurricane was not insignificant.

It seems that gambling can be quite challenging.
