"This is a set of guidelines for playing baccarat, and it's commonly known as the ""Smiling Method."" Here are the guidelines:
1. In the first hand, do not place a bet. If the first hand results in a Banker win, follow the Banker; if the first hand results in a Player win, follow the Player. Do not bet on a tie (TIE).
2. If you've been following the Banker, and the Banker hand loses, switch to following the Player until the Player hand loses, and then switch back to following the Banker. The same principle applies if you've been following the Player.
3. If you experience two consecutive losses while following either the Banker or the Player, switch to betting ""Jump"" (which means betting the opposite of the outcome of the hand just before). Keep following this strategy until a hand ends in a Jump. If the Jump happens after a Banker streak, switch back to following the Banker. If it happens after a Player streak, switch back to following the Player.
4. If you experience three consecutive losses, pause your betting for a while. During this break, continue mentally placing bets but don't make actual wagers. Resume betting when you virtually win two hands in a row.
5. Set a loss limit at five bets. If you accumulate a net loss of five bets, leave the table. Similarly, set a win limit at six bets. If you win six bets, consider leaving the table unless you're on a winning streak. If your win exceeds four bets (i.e., ten bets or more), you can continue betting until you lose two hands, and then you should stop.
6. If the game uses eight decks of cards, stop at hand number 55. When you reach the 55th hand, stop playing, whether you're ahead or behind. If you're in a winning streak, keep betting until you lose one hand, and then stop.
