"On October 23rd, election results provided by Bloomberg show that over 90% of the votes for the Argentine presidency have been counted. Economy Minister Sergio Massa is leading with over 36% of the support, while the Bitcoin-supporting Argentine presidential candidate, Javier Milei, has slightly over 30% support. The second round of voting is scheduled to begin on November 19th.

It is worth noting that presidential candidates need to secure 45% of the votes or have a 10% lead with at least 40% of the votes to claim the presidency.

Milei identifies himself as an anti-establishment capitalist and has proposed reducing the size of the state (ZF), abolishing the Argentine Central Bank, claiming it's a scam. Additionally, he plans to abandon the Argentine peso in favor of the U.S. dollar, following in the footsteps of the Bitcoin-friendly El Salvador."

Whether a candidate is reliable or not is more important.

Supporting a Bitcoin-backed candidate doesn't necessarily confer an advantage.
