Asset management company AllianceBernstein stated in its report that Bitcoin is a "safe-haven asset" and more attractive than gold. Analysts at AllianceBernstein (AB) emphasized that besides Bitcoin's inherent value derived from its limited supply of 21 million coins, the asset's returns are undeniable. The report notes that Bitcoin has outperformed gold since its inception. Over the past three years, gold has remained relatively flat, while Bitcoin has risen by 150% (though it dropped 60% in 2022). In the last five years, Bitcoin's returns have been five times that of gold. Analysts also pointed out that, compared to gold, Bitcoin is a relatively young asset. As of September 2023, AllianceBernstein's assets under management reached $669 billion. |
