Murray: My first NBA jersey was Vince Carter's. I've been a fan of his since I was a kid.
On October 24th, Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray was asked about his first NBA jersey in a recent interview.
Murray said, "Of course, it was Vince Carter's, the purple Toronto Raptors jersey with number 15. Purple jersey, purple shoes. I used to wear that jersey and go to different places with my dad, and I loved it."
"I was a huge Vince Carter fan, and later on, I had the opportunity to compete against him. I even got his signed jersey. I started watching him play when I was six years old, and I was a fan ever since." |
