Today, when I opened my social media, I saw a quote: "Our surroundings, be it the environment, people, events, or things, can easily influence our emotions. However, never forget that the key to happiness lies in your own hands!"
Many times, when losing at gambling, I would get frustrated. I'd even feel the urge to rush to the screen and ask for a player substitution. Anger, complaints, and frustration are common in gambling. It's essential to learn how to detach, so when you leave the screen, everything resets. Your mind should not be consumed by thoughts of that losing game or how to win it back. Even when winning, don't obsess over winning more.
If you don't learn to detach, you'll be unhappy, and your days may seem joyless. Everyone needs a happy life because a joyful life is a way of treating yourself and not squandering the brilliance of life. The essential ingredients of life are happiness and love.
Whether life is bustling or quiet, it's a vivid sky you create for yourself, with your own unique colors. Be grateful and appreciate the experiences that the world offers. I heard once that a grateful person receives more. This is true because gratitude makes you aware of what you've received. Those who don't appreciate what they've been given might not even realize what they had.
What you're enduring now is what the universe believes you can handle. That's why these things are happening to you. Often, in the midst of hardship, it feels challenging, almost unbearable. But afterward, you realize that it wasn't as tough as you thought, and you can say, "Every hurdle is past." When you can't figure something out, take a break, play a game, and then reconsider how to deal with it. Perhaps things aren't as difficult as you initially thought. |
