"On October 23, the Suns will have their season opener for the current regular season, facing the Warriors.
This marks Kevin Durant's first return to the Bay Area as an away player since leaving the Warriors in 2019. In an interview, KD also discussed his career with the Warriors, saying he has some incredible memories from his time there.
According to Suns beat reporter Duane Rankin, the Warriors will play a tribute video to Durant before the start of the season opener.
Durant joined the Warriors before the 2016-17 season and departed the team after the 2018-19 season. Durant helped the team win two championships and earned the Finals MVP honors twice during his time with the Warriors." |
