"Due to its significant energy surplus and a strong desire to achieve economic diversification and modernization, Oman is now aggressively entering the Bitcoin mining industry.

Two massive mining projects, Exahertz and Green Data City, are currently under construction and may ultimately turn the country into the largest Bitcoin mining hub in the Middle East.

Exahertz is paving the way for Oman's development in the Bitcoin mining industry, and Green Data City is also experiencing positive growth. As of September, Oman has approximately 20 MW of mining capacity, including 11 MW from Exahertz and Green Data City, 1.2 MW from pilot projects, and some unauthorized mining projects. Calculated at 27.5 J/TH, Oman's 20 MW mining capacity produces 0.7 EH/s of hashing power, accounting for 0.2% of the global hashing power."
