On October 28th, in the NBA regular season, the Brooklyn Nets lost 120-125 to the Dallas Mavericks on the road. In the final moments of the game, with the score tied at 120, Luca Dončić, the guard for the Dallas Mavericks, hit a three-pointer just before the shot clock expired, helping his team take the lead and secure the victory. After the game, Brooklyn Nets guard Cameron Thomas expressed his frustration about that particular shot.
""When the other team has someone hitting a one-handed off-the-glass three-pointer, what more can I say? What can I say?"" Thomas said.
Throughout the game, Dončić played for 36 minutes, making 16 of 25 field goals, including 9 of 14 from beyond the arc. He also converted 8 of 10 free throws, scoring 49 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing out 7 assists.
Cameron Thomas, who started the game, played for 33 minutes, making 12 of 19 field goals, 1 of 4 from three-point range, and he made all 5 of his free throws, scoring 30 points, along with 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. |
