On October 30, the Lakers lost to the Kings on the road in overtime with a score of 127-132. After the game, Lakers forward Anthony Davis was interviewed.
When asked if the team is having trouble finding its rhythm, Davis said, "No, I think we are in a good overall rhythm, and that's the case for most of the game. There are moments when it may look like our rhythm is off, but for the most part, we look okay. Players are reading each other's positions on the court, continuously communicating the plays we want and what we see, and the guys on the bench are talking to each other, letting the players on the court know what we see. So, I don't think it's a significant issue; I think it's just a matter of rhythm for some players."
"As I mentioned, Avery (Bradley) was out earlier, and he's working to get back to form. He's our point guard for the second unit. He's still working to find his shooting touch and his footing. Everyone is like that, Austin (Reaves) and Rui (Hachimura) are working to find themselves. And there's Cam (Reddish). The form will come; we just need to keep fighting like we did tonight. Obviously, we want to win, and we have another game tomorrow, so we need to put everything together and keep pushing forward, and our luck will turn around."
In this game, Davis played for 42 minutes, making 11 of 22 shots and scoring 30 points, grabbing 16 rebounds, providing 2 assists, and blocking 3 shots. |
