I've had more encounters with gambling than I can count on both hands.
My first attempt at entrepreneurship failed, investments went sour, trust was betrayed, and even my relationships ended in disappointment!
But success is not elusive; it's simply that every payment I make goes through. My life is already good because every transaction is successful.
How many people have faced failure with every payment?
Is money important? For me, it has always been about putting food on the table.
In the distant past, when I first started working, I didn't have much money. After paying the rent, I couldn't afford more than one meal a day, and I had to carefully consider what to eat for that single meal.
If it was bread, I could manage to have three meals, but I wonder how others managed during their tough times.
I still remember when a friend took me to a casino during those days. He taught me to play slot machines, which didn't require any special skills. As long as you had some initial capital, you could start. He lent me some money to play, and I actually won some money, which I shared with him.
Fortunately, my friend was a good person. If he had been a bad influence, I might not be here today. |
