Gambling fundamentally revolves around not the casino, but yourself. The ability to conquer oneself is the key to success. Hence, having the right mindset is crucial. The concepts of mindset and approach are widely known, yet understanding them is not synonymous with being able to apply them. Consequently, countless gamblers fail to overcome this challenge, often losing everything. However, I believe that a sound approach is conducive to achieving lasting victories. For a true expert, it might not be the decisive factor. For example, my big number technique, one of my three core skills, is almost independent of mindset and is simple in execution, but extremely practical.
The right approach is a prerequisite, a fundamental skill. It starts with awareness, then practice, and ultimately melding the two into unified action!
The five basic principles of DB mindset: Patience, Waiting, Calmness, Determination, and Timeliness.
Patience– This involves cultivating patience while in the casino. It means refraining from gambling when there's no advantage, no confidence, or no luck. Remember ""patience."" When you feel you can't bear it any longer, bear it a little longer, enduring even when the dealer is on a winning streak.
Waiting – Wait for the right moment, when you have confidence. Confidence arises from a precise understanding of the return rate. Experience helps in analysis, and a calm mind aids decision-making. Avoid betting during chaotic thinking. Bet when the return rate is positive, even place large bets. Wait, wait, and wait for the moment when we hold the advantage, when the time is right.
Calmness – Maintain stability and avoid impulsive bets. This preserves your capital strength, and when luck is on your side, you can place larger bets.
Determination– Bet decisively when the return rate is positive. Bet even more when the return rate is positive and consecutive wins are happening. Don't miss the opportunity to clear three stages of betting. While gambling is unpredictable, not every round is a win or loss. Seize the opportunity when it arises.
Timeliness– Leave the casino when winning, leave when losing. Keep the mountain intact, knowing that you can return next time. Regardless of how much money you bring to the casino, you won't be able to win back a whole casino. So, know when to walk away, ideally controlling it to leave after ten rounds or even one round of betting.
Remember, the objective is not to defeat the casino but to master your own impulses. With the right mindset and approach, success becomes an achievable goal.
