"I miss my grandmother. When I was a child, my grandmother was exceptionally good to me, and I grew up by her side. Unbeknownst to me, it has been many years since she left.
After my grandmother's departure, everything in the house changed. There was no more noise from her talking, no more sounds of her washing dishes, and no more familiar sound of her tired footsteps.
My grandmother gave me the greatest and most selfless love in the world, and I didn't have a chance to repay her before she left.
As time passed, I grew up. I gained a deeper understanding of life and death. While God takes some people's lives, He also brings new hope.
I know my grandmother is watching over me from heaven, and her love will never leave me. I will cherish every minute and live my life seriously, just like how my grandmother treated me – with love for everyone.
In life, there are always farewells that come too soon. May we all listen to our inner voices, express the words hidden in our hearts, and do what our hearts call us to do, starting now.
Too many unsaid goodbyes have no place, and undone things become lifelong regrets.
Later, I realized there is no perfect farewell. It's better to accept that 'regret always accompanies loss.'" |
