On November 9th, Representative Tom Emmer announced on the X platform, My bipartisan appropriations amendment passed the House today with unanimous support, curbing the SEC's enforcement abuses in the digital asset industry. Congress will hold unelected bureaucrats accountable.

Earlier today, it was reported that Tom Emmer is advancing an amendment regarding how the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) uses its funding. The proposed amendment aims to prohibit the SEC from using its budgetary funds to take enforcement actions against crypto companies until Congress passes legislation granting the SEC jurisdiction over this asset class.
