Golden Finance reported that Microsoft employees are banned from using OpenAI's product, ChatGPT. "For security and data reasons, many artificial intelligence tools are no longer available for employee use," Microsoft stated in the latest update on its internal website. Microsoft mentioned, "While Microsoft does indeed invest in OpenAI, and ChatGPT has built-in safeguards to prevent misuse, it is still a third-party external service." "This means you must use it carefully due to privacy and security risks. This also applies to other external AI services, such as Midjourney or Replika." (CNBC)

Restricting access definitely has its benefits.

It seems they want to restrict anyone, as long as it's not illegal.

This doesn't seem to be a significant issue.
