"In one's lifetime, one should not drift through days aimlessly but seek one's own value."
In this world, there are many people, each arriving for different reasons, and everyone's life trajectory is unique. Some can leave a colorful mark in the world, becoming immortalized in history; some lead a plain and uneventful life, remaining unknown; and then there are those whose lives are marked by extreme failure, wandering through each day like aimless travelers. Such a purposeless existence is devoid of meaning. In life, it's essential to maximize one's potential and contribute to the world rather than merely exist. However, achieving one's value is not an easy task, and everyone needs to strive for it.
By the age of forty-nine, if we are still obsessed with money, constantly thinking about unrealistic ways to make a fortune, it's time for reflection. In fact, before turning forty-nine, we should realize the necessity of fulfilling our purpose in this world and not spend every day contemplating impractical ways to earn money. As you know, there's no such thing as a free lunch, and nobody truly succeeds by relying on gambling. After the age of forty-nine, people should soberly recognize their abilities, be grounded, and contribute to society while realizing their own value. Whether at forty-nine or any other age, what we must avoid the most is getting addicted to gambling. A little gambling for leisure is fine, but it should never become a harmful obsession. |
