In the first T20 International of the five-match series in Visakhapatnam on November 23, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav, accompanied by Ishan Kishan, led from the front to secure a thrilling two-wicket victory over Australia. Chasing a challenging 209-run target, Suryakumar scored 80 off 42 balls, and Kishan contributed 58 off 39 balls, guiding India to victory on the final ball. Rinku Singh (22 not out off 14 balls) added the finishing touches with a six. India-origin leg-spinner Tanveer Sangha (2/47) took two wickets for Australia.
