Fights in cricket fields aren’t uncommon. There have been some legendary cricketers who got into fights with their opponents and sometimes even with the umpires and the fans. What was the most aggressive fight of the lot?

I would say the fight between Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi in 2007.

The two decorated cricketers have had a legendary confrontation and traded verbal abuses to one another. The heated exchange meant they didn’t see eye-to-eye even after many years since the battle took place.

In my opinion, it should be Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir in 2 different instances. The first one was during the 2013 IPL and the next in the 2023 IPL.

Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli played together for Delhi in the Ranji Trophy and the Indian International team. Both were part of the 2011 Indian World Cup winning squad. However, in 2013 and 2023, both these players were involved in ugly spats over different issues. In both these instances, both of these players received widespread criticism and fines for their unprofessional behaviors.
