Match Fixing is a form of cheating that involves a player or a group of players intentionally playing in a specific way as what the bookies want in exchange for monetary or other benefits. This is a crime and players could even end up in jail if found guilty while tarnishing the sport and the country they are representing. How can we as a spectator, know a match is fixed?

There is no way you can assume a match fixed by seeing things on TV. There is one single way to fix a match.
However, as a spectator, you might suddenly see a player in form playing hopelessly, dropping easy catches, getting dismissed cheaply, or bowling wides and no balls. These are some instances where as a fan, we can assume something is fishy. However, unless there is concrete evidence, the ACU or the Anti-Corruption Unit of ICC would not investigate if a match is fixed.

It is impossible to assume a match is fixed. Even with certain things you might feel obvious, but didn't go as per the plan, it cannot be assumed a match is fixed.

A match-fixing does not occur openly. It is pre-planned by the bookies and cooperation with the player(s) or certain members of management. As someone watching from home, there is no way one can assume a match is fixed.
