In cricket which is more difficult, batting or bowling?

Cricket is a game that’s a battle between a batsman and a bowler. There has always been an argument that being a batsman is a lot more difficult in skill/ application than being a bowler. Is it for real? Let us check it:

I feel bowling is a lot more difficult task than batting.
A bowler has to sustain more stamina while both bowling and fielding. More importantly, a bowler only has a limited margin for error in ODIs and T20 matches. With so many obligations, I feel being a bowler is a lot tougher than being a batsman.

Batting is difficult!
A batsman needs to use his application and technique, as well as play according to the match equation. Sometimes the run rate is way too high to chase or sometimes like in tests, they need to sustain days to draw/win the match. Hence, batting is a tougher ask than bowling.

Bowling any day!
In the era of T20, when batsmen have all the freedom to swing their arms with small boundaries, more fielders inside the inner circle, and modern bats, it is for the bowlers to contain their skills purely. A bowler has all these odds stacked against them and needs to perform their skins out to win the match. Hence in my case, I vote for the bowlers.
