I looked back at the differences between this year and last year. Last year, around this time, I was mostly engaged in live-action gaming, but this year I realized that I haven't been playing live-action much. Instead, I've been primarily involved in sports. The initial turning point was last year's World Cup. I placed bets on many matches during the World Cup and later discovered that I found sports more enjoyable. I've been playing it ever since.
At the beginning of this year, I started with football because I have some understanding of it. So, playing it didn't pose much hindrance. I thought sports were quite enjoyable at the time. However, playing the same game for a long time can become monotonous. Around May, when the NBA entered the playoffs, I started playing basketball. Basketball, on the other hand, is a completely unfamiliar territory for me, so initially, it felt a bit challenging.
But after playing for a while, I still think basketball is quite good, and I've even become a partial fan of the Denver Nuggets. If I were to point out the biggest difference between football and basketball, it would be that in football, if you only focus on mainstream matches, club matches may occasionally be on a break. Usually, there are only 1-2 matches a week, and the number of matches available for betting is limited. In contrast, the NBA has games almost every day, so there's almost no worry about not having matches to bet on.
Of course, if you consider other non-mainstream leagues, then football offers a much wider selection of matches than basketball. So, there's no definitive answer as to which one is better; it all depends on personal preference. |
