After being selected as the third overall pick by the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the 2003 draft, Carmelo Anthony went on to play for the Nuggets, Knicks, Thunder, Rockets, Trail Blazers, and Lakers. Throughout his 19-year professional career, Anthony was unable to secure an NBA championship but notably helped the Nuggets reach the Western Conference Finals in the 2008-09 season.
Anthony averaged 34.5 minutes per game in his career, contributing 22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1 steal. Following his tenure with the Lakers last season, Anthony became a free agent and did not appear in the NBA.
