TBCASoft and SoftBank Launch Cross-Border DLT Payment System for Mobile Payments

As reported, TBCASoft, a blockchain company supported by SoftBank, has announced the integration of its HIVEX cross-border payment system with PayPay, Japan's largest payment application. This integration allows mainland Chinese tourists to utilize their domestic mobile payment solutions for QR code-based payments while visiting stores in Japan. TBCASoft positions HIVEX as a cross-border solution for Mobile Payment Service Providers (MPSPs), and it is set to launch in the fourth quarter of 2023.
