Recently, our company organized a seminar for me. The lecturer kept emphasizing throughout the seminar, urging us to step out of our comfort zones. In reality, the only reason the boss brought him in was to encourage us to work harder, break out of our comfort zones, and achieve better performance.
One thing that stuck with me the most was when he said, 'Worry less, take more action. Stepping out of your comfort zone is the beginning of growth.'
So, I followed his advice and stepped out of my comfort zone. Usually, when I lose, I would take a break or switch to another game. After hearing about stepping out of the comfort zone, I played a few more rounds when losing, only to end up losing even more.
After winning, I initially wanted to buy this handbag for my girlfriend. Unexpectedly, I gradually lost it all back.
It seems that stepping out of the comfort zone is not something you can do casually. Just like this fish, once it jumps out, it turns into a dried fish. |
