On December 9th, according to Bloomberg, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) stated that the recent $4.3 billion settlement agreement reached between Binance Holdings Ltd. and the U.S. Department of Justice supports the SEC's lawsuit against Binance. Although the SEC was not involved in the settlement agreement, both Binance and CZ had previously requested the court to dismiss the SEC's lawsuit. As of now, Binance and CZ have not commented on this statement.
