Fast bowler Mohammed Shami, one of the architects of India's recent successful World Cup campaign, has been nominated for this year's Arjuna Award!!

According to sources from the Ministry of Sports, a special request was made by the BCCI to the Sports Ministry to include Shami's name, as initially, he was not on the list for the country's second-highest sporting honor.
